What We Collect

Waitlist Signups

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address - to notify you when we launch
  • IP address - for rate limiting and fraud prevention (stored temporarily)
  • Timestamp - when you signed up

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our site. This collects:

  • Pages visited
  • Device type and browser
  • Approximate location (country/region)
  • Referral source

Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out using browser extensions like Google Analytics Opt-out.

How We Use Your Data

  • Send you launch announcements and product updates
  • Prevent abuse and spam signups
  • Understand website traffic and improve our landing page

We will never sell your email address or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud (Firebase/Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transfer
  • Email hashing for deduplication (your email is stored but also hashed)
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse
  • Restricted access to production data

Data Retention

We retain your email address until:

  • You request deletion, or
  • The waitlist campaign ends and you haven't become a user

Rate limiting records (IP addresses) are automatically deleted after 1 hour.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access - request a copy of your data
  • Correction - update inaccurate information
  • Deletion - request removal of your data
  • Opt-out - unsubscribe from emails at any time

GDPR (EU Users)

If you're in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR:

  • Legal basis: We process your email based on consent (you voluntarily signed up)

  • Lodge a complaint: With your local data protection authority

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email to waitlist subscribers.
